the partner of the firm - involved in various challenging and diversified projects in the field of business advisory across the sectors. He comes with over 5 years of robust experience in audit, tax advisory and consulting for special investment vehicles.

Besides, he has successfully assisted clients during financial and tax due diligence process while raising funds for them from Private Equity/ Venture Capital Funds. He has this unique ability - he maintains warm relationship with clients and at the same time - he maintains the highest level of professional and ethical standards in his work.

He has been associated with firm since 1999. He is fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Also, he is graduated from Mumbai University as Bachelor of Commerce.

Since inception of his professional career, his core area of expertise has been Indirect Taxes, especially Service Tax. He specializes in indirect tax refund claims, departmental audits, analysis & interpretation of provisions under the Service Tax statute, CENVAT Credit Rules, VAT, Excise, Customs Act for various multinationals in Information Technology, BPO/KPO, Publishers, Logistics, etc. Regarding his experience in GST, AMIT has conducted numerous knowledge sharing sessions and steered the GST impact assessment projects for various clients.
